I've been blessed to be taking photos for Katie and Mike's family since Lucie & Ella were born, and I just love these girls (and their whole family!) to pieces! My favorite thing about family sessions isn't necessarily the posed group shots (although those are wonderful and an important part about family sessions); rather, it's the little moments, like Ella laying her head on her mama's shoulder, or the girls sharing with each other, or a loving look exchanged between Mom and Dad. Being a new mother myself, I'm realizing more and more that the close up shots of cute little toddler fingers and the in-between moments are really fleeting and extra sweet, so that's what I want to capture for my clients.
