Now that the weather has started to turn & I see little snowflakes in the weekly forecast on my weather app, I'm starting to miss fall something crazy. (Well, except for the mountains of leaves on my lawn that have yet to be raked...I'll take care of you little guys someday, I promise!). One of my favorite parts about the season is spending beautiful days with my beautiful clients to capture their family sessions. Every day with your family looks different, which makes it all the more important to take some time to get in front of the camera and be your crazy, sweet selves! I always see these sessions as an opportunity to find some pretty places and do a little directing into "poses", but mostly just give you the chance to love on the people closest to you in your life (I guess this applies to all avenues of photography that I capture!). This session with Jane & her husband & sweet little boy Will was a blast! We went exploring, got licked on the face by their pup, threw leaves in the air, and just laughed a lot! I hope they will look back on these photos later today, tomorrow, and years down the road, and remember what it felt like to have a sweet little teething kiddo in tow. Capture the blessings as they happen, so they can always brighten up your heart! Enjoy!
