Hi! My name is Clare Remer - it's great to meet you!

I'm a senior, newborn, and family portrait photographer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota (but willing to travel to wherever you are!). I have a passion for the art of photography, the unique way it can capture a fleeting moment, and how it always manages to bring people together over something beautiful. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Photography from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and find inspiration both in nature and in how awesome and different and beautiful each individual person is.

 

My style is all about simplicity & authenticity - I think the most perfect moments in life are the simple ones, and my goal in working with you is to capture the sweet moments you couldn't imagine happening any other way. I love photographing many different parts of life, so whatever it is that you have in mind, I'm excited to start a conversation with you!

 

When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me dreaming about my next trip, whether it's abroad or to the North Shore. My husband and I fell in love while guiding far north canoe adventures, so it's safe to say paddling on a lake or through rapids is our happy place together! I have a passion for big families (I'm one of a family of 11!), making new friends with strangers, window light, making pottery, and drinking coffee. We have two sweet daughters named Sophie & Emilia, and they bring us all the joy in the world!
