Family Sessions
 

Every year, I make sure to schedule my own family session. This started when we chose to do 1-year old and family photos with our daughter, and it just sort of felt like the perfect time of year to do it annually. For me, it's a great reminder of how it feels to be in front of the camera, so I can use that experience as a way to help my clients feel comfortable and have an awesome time during their sessions. I love to do family sessions on-location (or in the home, if that's what weather allows for, because Minnesota weather does what it wants!). What "on-location" means is that we will choose a place that reflects who you are as a family - if you love the outdoors, I have a treasure trove of locations in my back pocket in the Twin Cities and greater central Minnesota region that are amazing for a more natural setting (although I LOVE to explore new places as well). If you prefer more of a city vibe, I'm there for you, too! I will make sure to capture images that you will be excited to put on your Christmas card, but more than that, I love to help capture those little in-between moments: those sweet hugs or smiles, a glance between you and your spouse, your toddler laughing as you swing them around, close-ups of little hands and eyes and wispy hair...all the bits of life that you may otherwise overlook but will look back on with the warmest heart. That's what I'm happiest doing, and I am excited to connect with you and your family!
